Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone became the first national park in 1872. It is located 72 miles from Ennis, making it just far enough away from the crowds and close enough for a day of adventure in the park. Visit and be wowed by the unique hydrothermal and geologic wonders.

Ennis Lake
Ennis Lake is a perfect spot for ice-skating. The lake is shallow and freezes quickly. This is also an excellent location for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Winter Fly-Fishing on a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream
The Madison River is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream. This renowned river is what brings many to Madison River Valley, specifically the section running through Ennis. The pristine water, snowcapped mountains to your east and west, and wide-open nature on the banks provide incredible views along with top-notch fishing.

Quake Lake
“Earthquake” Lake was created after the Hebgen Lake Earthquake struck on August 17, 1959, measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale. This is a beautiful spot for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Walk, Hike, or Snowshoe at Lions Club Park “Jewel of Ennis” with front row seats to the Madison River. This is fun for the whole family, and a good spot to view wildlife.

Norris Hot Springs. Eat, drink, and enjoy live music while soaking in nature’s hot tub at Montana’s geothermal wonder.
